Installation Instructions

1. Front wheels should be raised off the ground 5 to 6 inches.
   Caution: Vehicle should be supported by jack stands under the frame rails when working under the vehicle.
2. Removal of old actuator:
   1. Remove skid plate (if vehicle has skid plate)
   2. Disconnect actuator connector from vehicle wire harness
   3. Unscrew old actuator

3. Installation of new actuator
   • Be sure internal threads on housing are clean
   • Apply thread sealer on actuator threads
   • Screw in actuator until the flange of the actuator is snug against the axle tube housing. Do not apply more then 15 ft. lbs. torque
   • Reconnect the actuator connector to vehicle wire harness
   • Replace skid plate (if applicable)
